Replacing the WPW10179146 Whirlpool Refrigerator Water Inlet Valve
Tools and Materials Required:
• Phillips screwdriver
• New WPW10179146 Whirlpool Refrigerator water inlet valve
Step 1: Before you begin, make sure your refrigerator is unplugged from the wall to ensure safety.
Step 2: Locate the water inlet valve at the back of the refrigerator, typically near the bottom.
Step 3: Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws securing the valve to the refrigerator and set them aside.
Step 4: Remove the old WPW10179146 Whirlpool Refrigerator water inlet valve and disconnect any hoses attached to it.
Step 5: Place the new WPW10179146 Whirlpool Refrigerator water inlet valve into position and secure it with the screws that you removed earlier.
