Step 1: Begin by unplugging the power to your dryer.
Step 2: Remove any clothing or other items from the dryer and locate the screws that attach the top panel to the back of the dryer.
Step 3: Remove the screws, then lift the top panel off the dryer.
Step 4: Locate the Whirlpool WPW10165967 DIVIDER ASSEMBLY. It will be located in the center of the dryer.
Step 5: Push down on the divider clips to release them from the divider assembly.
Step 6: Pull the divider assembly out of the dryer.
Step 7: Insert the new Whirlpool WPW10165967 DIVIDER ASSEMBLY into the dryer.
Step 8: Slide the clips onto the divider assembly.
Step 9: Replace the screws at the back of the dryer and reattach the top panel.
Step 10: Plug the power back into the dryer and test the new divider assembly.
