Replacing the Whirlpool W11334745 Motor-EVAP
1. Unplug the appliance from the power supply and shut off the water if you haven't done so already.
2. Locate the Motor-Evap, which is usually housed behind the refrigerator's evaporator cover panel.
3. Remove the mounting screws that are holding the panel in place with a screwdriver.
4. Gently pull the evaporator cover panel away from the back of the refrigerator, being careful not to tear the insulation or disturb any electrical connections.
5. Disconnect the wiring harnesses attached to the Motor-Evap.
6. Unscrew the mounting screws located on either side of the Motor-Evap, using a screwdriver.
7. Lift the Motor-Evap out of the refrigerator and discard it.
8. Insert the new Motor-Evap into the space vacated by the old unit and secure with the mounting screws.
9. Reconnect the wiring harnesses to the new Motor-Evap.
10. Place the evaporator cover panel back into place, making sure to slide the insulation back in correctly, and secure it with the mounting screws.
11. Restore power to the fridge and turn the water back on.
12. Test the motor-evap operations to ensure that it is functioning correctly.
