Replacing the Whirlpool W11179756 SHAFT-TURN
1. Unplug your refrigerator from the power source before beginning the repair process.
2. Open the doors of the refrigerator and locate the evaporator fan motor.
3. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws that secure the evaporator fan motor and set them aside for later use.
4. Gently pull out the evaporator fan motor from the refrigerator.
5. Disconnect the wires from the old Whirlpool W11179756 SHAFT-TURN, then remove it from the evaporator fan motor.
6. Take the new shaft-turn and insert it into the evaporator fan motor. Secure it in place by tightening the screws.
7. Connect the wires back to the shaft-turn, ensuring that they’re all firmly attached.
8. Reattach the evaporator fan motor to the refrigerator. Make sure it is securely placed.
9. Plug the refrigerator back into the power source, and you are finished!
Your Whirlpool W11179756 SHAFT-TURN should now be successfully replaced.
