W10830274 Whirlpool Door Gasket
The SxS Refrigerator Door Gasket, Gray, seals the refrigerator door when closed to keep the cool air inside and the room air out. If your refrigerator’s door doesn’t close properly or you can feel cold air escaping the appliance, replacing the rubber gasket may alleviate these issues. Note that a refrigerator's original door seal may compress over time, causing the refrigerator to work harder to maintain a constant, cool temperature. DIY Instructions on Replacing the Whirlpool W10830274 GASKET-FIP
Tools and Materials needed:
-Replacement Gasket-FIP (Whirlpool W10830274)
-Pliers
-Screwdriver
Instructions:
1. Unplug the appliance and shut off the gas supply valve.
2. Remove the old gasket-FIP from the appliance. Use pliers to gently remove any fasteners or screws that may be in place.
3. Slide the new gasket-FIP into place and securely attach it with screws or fasteners.
4. Reattach the gas supply line to the appliance.
5. Plug the appliance back into a power source and turn the gas supply valve back on.
6. Test the appliance to ensure it is working correctly.
7. Enjoy your newly replaced gasket-FIP.
