This Washer Dispenser Drawer houses the compartments for the detergent, fabric softener and bleach. To access the part, pull the old drawer out until it stops and then press the release lever to release it. Please note that the handle and cover are sold separately. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. Step 1: Unplug Washer – Before starting, make sure to unplug the washer from power outlet and turn off both hot and cold water supply.
Step 2: Remove Dispenser Drawer – To access the dispenser drawer, first remove the front panel of the washer. Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the screws on the front panel, then carefully lift the panel out. Once the front panel is removed, you will see the dispenser drawer at the top of the washer. Gently pull the dispenser drawer out of the washer and set aside.
Step 3: Install New Dispenser Drawer – Grab the replacement dispenser drawer and slide it into the opening at the top of the washer. Make sure the drawer is securely in place before moving on to the next step.
Step 4: Reinstall Front Panel – Now that the new dispenser drawer is installed, grab the front panel of the washer and slide it back into place. Screw the panel back in with the Phillips screwdriver and tighten the screws securely.
Step 5: Reconnect Power and Water Supply - Plug the washer back in to the power outlet, then turn on the hot and cold water supply.
