Step 1: Disconnect the power and gas supply to the appliance.
Step 2: Open the grill and locate the existing 12200035 Whirlpool Burner Knob Set.
Step 3: The knob and mounting base are attached with small screws, remove the screws and detach the knob from the mounting base.
Step 4: Insert the new 12200035 Whirlpool Burner Knob Set in the opening of the mounting base.
Step 5: Attach the knob to the mounting base using the included screws.
Step 6: Once the knob is firmly attached to the mounting base, you can reattach the wiring and gas supply and turn the power back on.
Step 7: Finally, test the newly installed knob set to ensure proper functionality.
