Instructions for Replacing the 802623P Speed Queen / Alliance Washer Drain Pump
1. Start by turning off the power to your washing machine. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
2. Shut off the water supply valves located behind the unit. Place a bucket under the pump and drain hose connection to catch any spilled water.
3. Disconnect the water hoses from the inlet valve and then loosen and remove the clamps that connect the hose to the pump.
4. Remove the four screws that hold the pump in place on the bottom of the washer. Carefully lift the pump out of the unit and set aside.
5. Place the new pump in position and replace the screws to hold it in place. Connect the water hoses to the inlet valve and tighten the clamps.
6. Secure the drain hose to the pump with its clamp and make sure there are no leaks. Reconnect the power cord and turn on the water supply valves.
7. Turn on the power to your washing machine. Check for any leaks or other issues and test the drains by running a cycle.
