Replacing a SVC-LIGHT DIMMER CAP

1. Gather the necessary tools and materials: flathead screwdriver, replacement SVC-LIGHT dimmer cap, grounding strap, and electrical tape.

2. Switch off the power at the circuit breaker to ensure the area is free from any electrical sources that could be dangerous.

3. Unscrew the screws located at the back of the dimmer switch with a flathead screwdriver. Then, gently remove the SVC-LIGHT dimmer cap.

4. Attach a grounding strap between the switch and the replacement SVC-LIGHT dimmer cap. This will help protect against any potential electrical shocks.

5. Secure the replacement SVC-LIGHT dimmer cap by screwing it back into place.

6. Wrap electrical tape around the connection points of the dimmer switch to keep everything securely in place.

7. Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker and test out the new SVC-LIGHT dimmer cap. If everything works as it should, you can now enjoy the new dimmer switch.
