How to Replace the Whirlpool WPW10247885 Gasket-FIP
1. Unplug your Whirlpool appliance from the power source and turn off the gas if applicable.
2. Use a screwdriver to remove any screws that are securing the gasket-fip in place.
3. Pull the old gasket-fip out of its recess and discard it.
4. Measure the length and width of the replacement gasket-fip to ensure it is the correct size for your Whirlpool appliance.
5. Insert the new gasket-fip into the recess, making sure it is properly seated.
6. Secure the gasket-fip back onto the appliance with the screws previously removed.
7. Turn the power back on and test the appliance to make sure the new gasket-fip fits properly and is securely in place.
8. To keep your Whirlpool appliance operating optimally, periodically check the gasket-fip for wear and tear, and replace it as necessary.
