Replacing the Whirlpool WPW10005300 Hose
DIY Instructions
1. Gather the necessary tools: adjustable wrench, pliers, Teflon tape, replacement hose and shut off valve.
2. Shut off the cold water supply valve to the washing machine.
3. Disconnect the old hose from the cold water supply connection.
4. Disconnect the old hose from the water inlet on the back of the washing machine.
5. Use an adjustable wrench to remove the old shut off valve from the cold water supply line.
6. Wrap Teflon tape around the threads of the new shut off valve and thread it into the cold water supply line.
7. Attach the new hose to the cold water supply connection using a wrench or pliers.
8. Attach the new hose to the water inlet on the back of the washing machine, again using a wrench or pliers.
9. Test the new connection for leaks by slowly turning on the cold water supply valve.
10. If there are no leaks, you have successfully replaced the Whirlpool WPW10005300 hose and the job is complete!
