This Dishwasher Upper Dishrack Roller Assembly is a replacement part for use on the upper dishrack. The dishrack roller attaches to the dishrack and allows you to roll the dishrack in and out properly. The roller assembly includes an integrated clip-on axle for mounting in light gray. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. Replacing the Upper Rack Wheel on your Whirlpool WP99003147 Dishwasher
1. Unplug the dishwasher from the power outlet before you start.
2. Open the dishwasher door, and remove the upper rack by lifting it off the support tabs.
3. Inspect the damaged wheel and compare it to the new wheel. The wheels can vary in size, so make sure they match up.
4. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the wheel in place.
5. Take out the old wheel and replace it with the new one. Make sure it fits into the same spot and is securely in place.
6. Reinstall the screws to secure the new wheel.
7. Place the upper rack back on the support tabs in the dishwasher.
8. Plug the dishwasher back into the power outlet and you are done!
