WP8269117 Whirlpool Dishwasher Handle
This Dishwasher Door Handle allows you to open and close your dishwasher door properly. To replace the part, open the dishwasher door, remove the screws that hold the console in place, and then install the new door handle. Note that this part should be used on black, white, stainless steel and bisque appliances. Be careful not to scratch or damage the front of the dishwasher during the repair. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Be sure to turn off the dishwasher's water supply underneath the sink. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Dishwasher Cleaner (item W10282479) to help remove limescale and mineral build-up that can be unsightly and affect your dishwasher’s performance.
