Replacing the Whirlpool W11311687 CAM-DOOR
DIY Instructions
1. Unplug the refrigerator from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove the top hinge cover of the refrigerator door. This cover is held in place by a single screw.
3. Remove the screws securing the door to the refrigerator body.
4. Gently lift the door off of the refrigerator body, taking note of where the various wires and hinges attach to the door.
5. Carefully slide the old cam-door out of its slot in the door.
6. Slide the new cam-door into the slot in the door, making sure it is properly aligned.
7. Attach the door to the refrigerator body, re-connecting all wires and hinges.
8. Replace the top hinge cover and secure it with the single screw.
9. Plug the refrigerator back into the electrical outlet and test the new cam-door to make sure it is functioning correctly.
