1. Gather necessary items: new Whirlpool W11182108 ELMNT-BAKE, flat head screwdriver, gloves.
2. Unplug the range from the wall and turn off the power at the circuit breaker.
3. Use a flat head screwdriver to disconnect the wires from the existing ELMNT-BAKE element.
4. Remove the mounting screws that secure the ELMNT-BAKE element to the oven cavity.
5. Carefully remove the old ELMNT-BAKE element and set aside.
6. Insert the new ELMNT-BAKE element into the oven cavity and reattach the mounting screws.
7. Reconnect the wires to the new ELMNT-BAKE element.
8. Before restoring power, use a multimeter to check for continuity at the wires.
9. Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker and plug the range back into the wall.
10. Test the oven’s bake function to ensure the new ELMNT-BAKE element is working properly.
