1. Turn off the electricity to the appliance. Unplug the appliance, or flip the circuit breaker that controls the power to the appliance.
2. Open the door and locate the two Phillips screws near the top of the door handle. Remove these screws and place them aside.
3. Grab the top of the door handle with your hands and pull the handle away from the door.
4. Insert the new Whirlpool W10300490 Handle-Door and slide it into place.
5. Secure the handle in place by re-inserting the two Phillips screws.
6. Reconnect the electricity, or switch the circuit breaker back on, and test the new Whirlpool W10300490 Handle-Door.
