Replacing the 202777 Speed Queen Washer / Dryer Lead-In Cord

1. Unplug the washer and dryer from any outlets and turn off the circuit breaker in your breaker box to cut off power to the appliance.

2. Remove the rear access panel of the washer and dryer. You'll find the lead-in cord behind the access panel.

3. Cut the existing cord off at the point where it enters the housing.

4. Strip 1/4 inch of insulation from the end of the new cord using a wire stripper.

5. Connect the new cord to the wiring in the washer and dryer. Make sure the white and green wires are connected to their designated terminals.

6. Secure the new cord to the housing with stainless steel clamps. Once you're done, make sure all screws are tightened securely.

7. Once you have finished installing the new lead-in cord, you can reattach the access panel and plug the washer and dryer back into the outlet. Turn the circuit breaker back on and test the appliance before using.
