DIY Instructions for Replacing the DA47-00243K Samsung Refrigerator BI-Metal Defrost Thermostat
1. Unplug the refrigerator from the power source.
2. Locate the bi-metal defrost thermostat, which is typically located behind the food trays in the main storage area.
3. Carefully pull out the food trays to access the thermostat.
4. Unscrew the screws securing the thermostat and carefully pull it out.
5. Gently remove the wires from the terminal block.
6. Carefully disconnect the old thermostat from the refrigerator.
7. Install the new DA47-00243K Samsung refrigerator bi-metal defrost thermostat by attaching the wires to the terminal block.
8. Secure the thermostat with the screws provided with the kit.
9. Put the food trays back in place.
10. Plug the refrigerator back into the power source.
11. Check the refrigerator temperature to ensure correct functioning.
