DIY Steps to Replacing Your Whirlpool WPW10614598 Knob
1. Shut off the power to the appliance. To do this, locate the appliance’s circuit breaker in the home's main fuse box and switch it off. Make sure to double check that the power is off before you start working on the knob.
2. Unscrew the top whell of the knob by turning it counter-clockwise. To make this easier, you may need to use a flathead screwdriver.
3. Once the wheel is unscrewed, you can carefully lift the knob off of the machine. Be careful not to pull too hard so you don't damage any wires underneath.
4. Push the new Whirlpool WPW10614598 KNOB onto the machine firmly. Make sure it is secure.
