This SxS Refrigerator LED Light Assembly illuminates the interior of the appliance. If the light in your refrigerator is blinking, seems dim or not working at all, replacing this part may alleviate these issues. This light assembly can be used in either the fresh food compartment or the freezer compartment of the appliance. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. You must unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.

DIY: Replacing the Whirlpool WPW10515057 Light Board
1. Unplug your appliance to ensure no power is running through it.
2. Remove the screws in the back of the appliance that are holding the control board in place.
3. Use a flathead screwdriver to disconnect the wires from the old light board and the control board.
4. Install the new WPW10515057 light board by connecting the wires to the correct positions on both boards.
5. Once the wires have been connected, mount the new light board into the appliance with the screws.
6. Plug the appliance back in and test that the new light board is working properly.
