DIY Instructions for Replacing the Whirlpool WPW10464673 MOTOR-EVAP
1. Disconnect power to the appliance, either by unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker.
2. Remove any screws that hold the evaporator motor in place, and then gently pull it out of the freezer.
3. Once the old motor has been removed, install the new one by reversing the steps used to remove the old one. Make sure the electrical connections are firmly attached and secure.
4. Re-attach all the screws and covers that were taken off during installation.
5. Reconnect the power to the appliance and turn it back on.
6. Monitor the refrigerator for a few hours for any indication the new evaporator motor isn’t working properly.
7. If everything is working properly, the job is complete.
