Replacing the WPW10257203 Whirlpool Refrigerator Door Closing Cam, Lower
1. First, unplug the fridge from its power source.
2. Open the door(s) and remove any items that may be stored in the door shelf area.
3. Remove the lower door hinge cover, located on the back of the door.
4. Once the cover is removed, use a screwdriver to loosen the screws on the hinge and remove the hinge.
5. The cam should be visible now on the door. Use a flat-head screwdriver to pry it off the door.
6. Install the new closing cam and press firmly to make sure it is securely attached.
7. Put the hinge back in place and tighten the screws.
8. Reattach the door hinge cover.
9. Put any items back in the door shelf area and close the door.
10. Plug the refrigerator back into its power source and enjoy your newly replaced door closing cam!
