WPW10195839 Whirlpool Dishwasher Rack Adjuster
The Dishwasher Upper Rack Tether Adjuster Strap allows you to move the upper rack of your dishwasher up or down to provide more space. If your appliance's upper rack is sagging to one side, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. Step 1: Unplug the dishwasher to make sure there is no electricity running through the dishwasher.
Step 2: Locate the WPW10195839 Whirlpool Dishrack Adjuster.
Step 3: Use a flat head screwdriver to remove the screws that are holding the adjuster in place.
Step 4: Once the screws have been removed, carefully pull the adjuster out of the dishwasher.
Step 5: Take out the new WPW10195839 Whirlpool Dishrack Adjuster and place into the appropriate slots.
Step 6: Using a flat head screwdriver, tighten the screws on the adjuster until secure.
Step 7: Turn on the dishwasher to test if the adjuster is properly installed by opening and closing the rack.
Step 8: If the new adjuster is successfully installed, plug in the dishwasher and you have now replaced the WPW10195839 Whirlpool Dishrack Adjuster.
