DIY Instructions to Replace the Whirlpool WPW10155786 Holder-Orifice
1. Begin by switching off the power to the stove, either at the breaker box or unplugging it from the wall.
2. Remove the screws that hold the top back panel of the oven in place and lift it off to expose the burner cavity beneath.
3. Using a wrench, take out the bolts that secure the burner head to the stove. Carefully remove the burner head.
4. Locate the holder-orifice for the burner head. It is usually located in the middle of the burner head.
5. Using an adjustable wrench, turn the holder-orifice counterclockwise to loosen it and then remove it from the burner.
6. Take the new holder-orifice, which should be the exact replacement part for the existing one, and insert it into the burner. Secure it firmly with the adjustable wrench by turning it clockwise until it is tightly in place.
