Replacing the WPW10111905 Whirlpool Dryer Door Catch
Instructions:
1. First, unplug the dryer and move it away from the wall.
2. Once you have moved the dryer, remove all screws that secure the outside access plate to the control panel area.
3. Then, remove the screws that secure the door catch.
4. After that, lift the catch off of the door and unthread any wiring connected to the existing catch and remove it.
5. Now, install the new catch and ensure it is secure.
6. Next, thread in any wiring related to the catch and secure it with a plastic tie if necessary.
7. Finally, reinstall the access plate and secure it with the screws you removed in step 2.
8. Plug in the dryer and test out the door catch to make sure it is functioning properly.
