The Dishwasher Dishrack Roller ensures your lower dishrack assembly moves in and out of the appliance with ease. If your dishwasher's current wheels are broken or damaged and no longer supporting the lower dishrack, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. The part includes the roller and axle for the lower rack. Replacing this part will require no disassembly or repair experience. Remember to unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this item. Also be sure to turn off the water supply to your dishwasher before you begin. Instructions for Replacing the Whirlpool WPW10082868 WHEEL
1. Disconnect power to your Whirlpool appliance by unplugging the power cord from the wall outlet.
2. Locate the current Whirlpool WPW10082868 WHEEL, which is located on the underside of the washer drum.
3. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws securing the wheel to the washer drum.
4. Pull off the old wheel and discard it.
5. Insert the new Whirlpool WPW10082868 WHEEL into the opening where you removed the old one.
6. Secure the wheel to the washer drum with the two Phillips screws.
7. Connect power back to your Whirlpool appliance by plugging the power cord back into the wall outlet.
8. Test the new Whirlpool WPW10082868 WHEEL by starting a cycle to ensure that it’s working correctly.
