WP98010187 Whirlpool Range Door Trim
This Gas Range Oven Door Trim frames the lower outer edge of the oven door and helps to hold the oven’s front glass safely in place. This plastic part is specifically designed to be used with black appliances. If this existing trim piece for your oven’s door is broken or missing, you can easily replace it with this part. Installing this trim will require basic hand tools and some disassembly of the oven. Previous repair experience will be helpful but is not necessary. DIY Instructions on Replacing the Whirlpool WP98010187 TRIM-DOOR
1. Unplug the refrigerator and move it away from the wall.
2. Carefully remove the screws that hold the trim-door in place using a Phillips head screw driver.
3. Pull the trim-door off gently to remove it from the refrigerator.
4. Place the new trim-door in its place and secure it with the same screws.
5. Reconnect the refrigerator to its power source.
6. Test the trim-door to ensure that it is properly secured.
7. Return the refrigerator to its original position.
