1. Unplug your dryer from the power outlet. This is an important safety precaution to prevent electric shock.
2. Go to the back of your dryer and remove the screws or bolts that hold the access panel in place. This will allow you access to the belt area.
3. Remove the old WP8544742 Whirlpool Dryer Blower Belt by slipping the belt off the motor pulley and then gently lifting it out. Once the belt is removed, inspect it for wear and tear.
4. Place the new WP8544742 Whirlpool Dryer Blower Belt onto the motor pulley. Make sure that the belt is properly aligned and that the tension is snug.
