This Dishwasher Upper Dishrack Roller Assembly is a replacement part for use on the upper dish rack. The dishrack roller attaches to the dishrack and allows you to roll the dishrack in and out properly. The roller assembly includes wheel, axle and mount for the upper dishwasher rack. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. You must unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off your dishwasher's water supply underneath the sink. DIY Instructions: How to Replace a WP8268655 Whirlpool Roller Assembly
1.Turn off the power to your washing machine by unplugging it from the wall.
2.Open the washer door and locate the screws that hold the access panel in place. Remove the screws with a Phillips head screwdriver and set the panel aside.
3.Locate the mounting screws that hold down the roller assembly. These screws should have a star pattern and may require a specific size Torx head screwdriver.
4.Once the screws are removed, pull the old roller assembly from the washer drum.
5.Align the new roller assembly with the mounting slots and insert the screws. Be sure to tighten them securely.
6.Replace the access panel and secure with the screws that were removed.
7.Plug the washer back in and turn on the power.
