Replacing the Whirlpool WP7406P438-60 Element- Bottom
1. Unplug your appliance from the power outlet before beginning any work.
2. Remove the screws from the back panel of the stove.
3. Carefully remove the old element from the bottom of the stove. You may need to use a putty knife or other flat-tipped tool to loosen the element from the bracket.
4. Disconnect the wires from the old element and set aside the screws.
5. Take the new element and place it in the same position as the old one.
6. Connect the wires from the new element and secure the screws.
7. Reattach the back panel of the stove.
8. Replace the screws in the back panel and finish tightening them.
9. Reconnect the power outlet and turn on the stove.
10. Test the stove to make sure the new element is working properly.
