The Dryer High Limit Thermostat includes a terminal extension arm and opens at approximately 260 degrees F (L260-50F). The only difference between the high limit thermostat and the operating thermostat is their opening and closing temperatures. If your dryer won't heat, replacing this part may alleviate the issue.
