Replacing the Whirlpool WP21001108 GE Motor Pulley
Tools Needed:
• Socket wrench
• Flat-blade screwdriver
• Adjustable wrench
• Replacement pulley
Instructions
1. Unplug the washer from the power source to avoid any risk of shock.
2. Remove the agitator cap by using a flat-blade screwdriver to pry it off the top of the washer.
3. With a socket wrench, remove the two mounting screws that secure the motor pulley to the bottom of the washer.
4. Using an adjustable wrench, loosen the nut that secures the pulley to the motor shaft.
5. Carefully slide off the old motor pulley and replace it with the new one.
6. Secure the new motor pulley to the motor shaft with the adjustable wrench.
7. Reattach the mounting screws that hold the motor pulley in place with the socket wrench.
8. Replace the agitator cap.
9. Reconnect the power source and you are done!
