W11130362 Whirlpool Washer Suspension Rod Kit
The Top Load Washer Suspension Rod Kit helps to dampen the movement of the washer tub during unbalanced cycles. This kit includes (4) suspension rods, (4) bushings, (4) suspension balls and installation instructions. Replacing these parts will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner* (item W10501250) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.

Step by Step Guide on How to Replace the Whirlpool Washer Suspension Rod Kit (Part W11130362)
1. Unplug the washer from the power source and turn off the water supply to it.
2. Place a towel under the washer to protect your floor from any accidental water leakage.
3. Open the washer lid and locate the suspension rod kit.
4. Use a flathead screwdriver to loosen the screws that are securing the rod kit in place and then pull it out carefully.
5. Take the new rod kit and insert it into place. Make sure it fits snugly.
6. Tighten the screws back in place.
7. Plug the washer back into the power source and turn on the water supply.
8. Test the washer to make sure it is working properly with no leaks or other malfunctions.
9. Once you’ve verified that the rod kit has been properly installed, you can close the washer lid and use it as normal.
