1. First, unplug your Whirlpool refrigerator from the power outlet and shut off the water valve that supplies the ice maker and water dispenser.
2. Remove all food and items from the refrigerator, including the glass shelf that you are replacing.
3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws that are securing the shelf to the wall of the refrigerator.
4. Carefully lift the shelf out of the refrigerator.
5. Place the new shelf in the refrigerator, making sure that it is aligned properly with the wall of the refrigerator.
6. Replace the screws and tighten them securely.
7. Put all of the food and items back in the refrigerator.
8. Once everything is back in the refrigerator, plug it back into the power outlet and re-open the water valve that connects to the ice maker and water dispenser.
9. Check that the new shelf is secure and make sure there are no leaks in the system by examining the ice maker and water dispenser for leaks.
10. Finally, enjoy your newly replaced refrigerator shelf!
