Step-by-Step Guide to Replacing the Whirlpool W11086780 Gear Motor
1. Unplug your appliance and turn off all the power sources connected to it.
2. Remove the back cover of the appliance by unscrewing the screws or bolts holding it in place with a screwdriver.
3. Locate the Gear Motor on the back of the appliance and identify the connection points.
4. Disconnect the wiring harness from the Gear Motor by carefully unclipping the wires.
5. Unscrew the mounting bolts on either side of the Gear Motor and remove it from the appliance.
6. Install and secure the new Gear Motor in its place using the same mounting bolts you removed before.
