Step 1: Unplug the Refrigerator
Before you begin any work on your refrigerator, make sure to unplug it from the wall outlet to prevent shock or injury.
Step 2: Remove the Bottom Storage Drawer
Pull out the bottom storage bin drawer from the refrigerator. Grip the sides of the drawer and wiggle it out until it’s free from the refrigerator. Set the drawer aside.
Step 3: Remove the Deodorant Cover
Look for the deodorant cover beneath the top shelf of the refrigerator. Use a screwdriver to remove the cover by unscrewing the screws.
Step 4: Pull Out the Old Deodorant
Once the cover is removed, carefully pull out the W10540355 Whirlpool Deodorant.
Step 5: Install the New Deodorant
Place the new deodorant into the same spot where the old one was. Make sure it slides all the way in, as far as it fits.
Step 6: Replace the Deodorant Cover
Reattach the deodorant cover by screwing the screws back into their original positions.
Step 7: Plug the Refrigerator Back In
Finally, plug the refrigerator back into the wall outlet. The new W10540355 Whirlpool Deodorant Replacement should now be working properly.
