1. To begin, turn off the power to the dryer at the breaker box.
2. Disconnect the exhaust ducting from the back of the dryer.
3. Remove the old vent cover by unscrewing the mounting screws and lifting off the vent cover.
4. Take the new vent cover, 8212662 Dryer Flush Mounted Louvered Vent - White - By Whirlpool, and align the holes with the existing holes in the wall.
5. Secure the new vent cover with the mounting screws.
6. Reconnect the exhaust ducting to the back of the dryer.
7. Finally, restore the power to the dryer at the breaker box.
