1901A Whirlpool Ice Maker Drain Pump Kit
The Ice Machine Drain Pump Kit helps remove excess water from melting ice inside your appliance. This is a universal accessory that can be used with most 50-lb ice makers manufactured in the year 2000 or later; check to see if your model number is compatible. This pump is designed to purge excess water up to 10'H. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the ice machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the ice machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the water supply before you begin. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Ice Machine Cleaner* (item W11179302) to help reduce mineral deposits that can clog your appliance and affect its performance. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.

Step 1: Unplug the Whirlpool Ice Machine from the electrical source.
Step 2: Drain the existing condensate water in the pan by turning off the drain valve or allowing it to evaporate.
Step 3: Remove the existing pump by disconnecting the power cord, tubing and other wiring, then unscrew the mounting screws.
Step 4: Install the new 1901A Whirlpool Ice Machine Condensate Water Pump Kit using the provided installation instructions. Make sure to securely attach the power cord and any wiring before proceeding to the next step.
Step 5: Connect the tubing to the inlet and outlet of the new pump.
Step 6: Check for any leakage around the pump before plugging the Whirlpool Ice Machine back into the power source.
Step 7: Turn on the ice machine and test for proper operation.
