DIY Guide to Replace the Frigidaire FPPWFU01 Filter
Instructions:
1. Grab a towel and place it on the counter next to the fridge to prevent any water spills that may occur.
2. Unplug the fridge from the power outlet.
3. Locate and remove the filter housing cover, which is usually located inside the fridge on the back wall.
4. Twist the old filter to the left to unlock it and then pull it straight out.
5. Take the new Frigidaire FPPWFU01 filter and line up the arrows at the bottom of the filter with the arrow on the filter housing.
6. Slide the new filter into the filter housing.
7. Twist the filter to the right to lock it in place.
8. Replace the filter cover and plug the fridge back in.
9. Reset the change filter indicator light, if applicable.
10. Flush the system by running 3 gallons of water through the filter before using it for drinking or cooking.
