Step 1: Disconnect the Power Source
Before starting any work, begin by disconnecting the power source. This includes unplugging the fridge and turning off the circuit box switch.
Step 2: Remove the Compartment Shelves
Remove any shelves, bins and other removable items within the refrigerator compartment, to allow access to the broken part.
Step 3: Locate the Frigidaire 807111601 Plate
The Frigidaire 807111601 plate is located at the rear of the refrigerator. It can be found near the bottom of the unit, underneath the unit's evaporator coils.
Step 4: Remove Old Plate
Once you have located the broken plate, use a screwdriver to remove the screws that are securing the plate.
Step 5: Replace Plate with New Frigidaire 807111601
Align the new plate into position within the refrigerator and secure it using the screws. The plate should fit snugly and securely into place.
Step 6: Re-Assemble the Unit
Re-assemble the refrigerator, replacing all of the compartments and shelves.
Step 7: Restore Power Source
Restore power to the refrigerator by plugging it back in and turning on the circuit box switch.
