Instructions for Replacing a Frigidaire 318293827 Switch, Surface Heating
1. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet to ensure that you do not shock yourself while working on the appliance.
2. Locate the old surface heating switch, which can be found behind the range on a panel marked “switch.â€
3. Remove the screws holding the switch in place and set them aside.
4. Take the old switch off and discard it.
5. Insert the new Frigidaire 318293827 switch, surface heating, into the space and secure with the set screws.
6. Plug your appliance back into the wall and restore power.
7. Test the switch by turning it on and off.
8. If the switch works properly, your replacement is a success!
