Step 1: Unplug your Frigidaire dryer from the wall outlet, and then shut off the gas supply if needed.
Step 2: Lift the top of the dryer up and locate the tensioner pulley outlined in your model’s manual.
Step 3: Remove the retaining screws that secure the old 131863007 Frigidaire Idler Pulley Assembly.
Step 4: Slide the old pulley off the belt, and carefully lift the idler arm away from the motor shaft pulley.
Step 5: Go ahead and replace the old pulley with the new 131863007 Frigidaire Idler Pulley Assembly.
Step 6: Position the new pulley as close to the motor shaft as possible.
Step 7: Secure the new pulley with the same screws that were used to remove the old one.
Step 8: Install a new drive belt on the pulleys, and then return the cover panel to its original position.
