1. First, make sure your U-Line Refrigerator is shut off and unplugged before you start the repair process.
2. Locate the 80-54134-00 Reed Switch at the back of the fridge by removing the bottom panel.
3. Disconnect the wiring on the old Reed Switch and remove it from the fridge.
4. Insert the new Reed Switch into the same spot as the old one, making sure it is firmly in place.
5. Connect the wiring to the new Reed Switch.
6. Secure the bottom panel of the fridge back into place.
7. With the fridge now reassembled, plug it back in and turn it on to make sure the new Reed Switch is functioning correctly.
8. Once you have tested the switch, you can now enjoy your fully functional U-Line refrigerator!
