1. Begin by gathering the necessary tools and materials you will need to replace the Speed Queen 801434W SWITCH, PUSH-TO-START. These include a replacement switch, a Phillips head screwdriver, wire cutters, and needle-nose pliers.
2. Unplug the washing machine from its power source and turn off the water supply.
