Tools Needed:
Phillips screwdriver
Step 1: Unplug the Washer and Shut Off The Water Supply
Before beginning any repairs or replacements, unplug the washer from the wall socket and shut off the water supply to the machine.
Step 2: Remove the Fabric Softener Dispenser
Open up the washer lid and locate the fabric softener dispenser on the inside of the lid. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the dispenser in place.
Step 3: Install the New Fabric Softener Dispenser
Slide the new fabric softener dispenser into the slot, making sure it is secured in place. Use the Phillips screwdriver to secure the new dispenser with the two screws.
Step 4: Reattach the Hoses and Plug in the Washer
Reattach the hoses to the new dispenser, making sure they are secured tightly. Once the hoses are in place, plug the washer back in and turn on the water supply.
