Step 1: Unplug your Samsung refrigerator from the power source.
Step 2: Remove the screws at the top of the ice maker assembly and lift it away from the freezer wall.
Step 3: Disconnect the wiring harnesses from the old ice maker assembly.
Step 4: Slide the new DA97-15217D Samsung Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly into place, lining up the mounting holes.
Step 5: Secure the new ice maker assembly with the removed screws.
Step 6: Reconnect the wiring harnesses to the new assembly.
