Replacing the DA97-07603B Samsung Refrigerator ICE MAKER
1. Unplug the refrigerator from the power outlet and turn off the water supply.
2. Remove the ice maker cover by lifting it straight up and carefully pulling it away from the unit.
3. Carefully disconnect the wiring harnesses attached to the old ice maker by pressing down on the locking tab and lifting the connector away.
4. Using a small flathead screwdriver, remove the four screws holding the old ice maker in place.
5. Pull the old ice maker straight out and discard it.
6. Line up the new ice maker with the mounting holes and insert the four screws to secure it in place.
7. Reconnect the wiring harnesses to the new ice maker.
8. Replace the ice maker cover and press it firmly until it clicks into place.
9. Turn on the water supply and plug the refrigerator back into the power outlet.
10. Reset the ice maker by pressing and holding the reset button for three seconds.
11. Put a container under the ice maker and fill it with water up to the indicated line on the reservoir.
12. Allow 24 hours for the ice maker to produce the first batch of ice.
