Step1: Unplug the power cord of the refrigerator and turn off the water source connected to it.
Step2: Locate the refrigerator's drain pan. Remove the screws located at the base of the refrigerator and move the pan away from the appliance.
Step3: Take out the old freezer water pipe assembly. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws that hold the pipe to the back wall. Carefully remove the pipe, making sure not to damage any of the other components in the area.
Step 4: Slide the new freezer water pipe assembly into place. Secure it with the screws removed from the previous pipe assembly.
Step 5: Hook up the new water line to the refrigerator. Connect the line to the new pipe and run the other end to the water source. Turn on the water source to start the flow of cold water to the refrigerator.
Step 6: Plug in the power cord of the refrigerator and check for leaks from the pipe connections. If there are no leaks, replace the refrigerator's drain pan and start using the new Assembly.
