How to Replace the GE WB48T10013 Support Drawer

Replacing the support drawer on your GE WB48T10013 range can be a straightforward process, allowing you to restore it to proper working order. To ensure that the drawer is installed correctly and is functioning properly, follow these steps to replace it.

1. Disconnect the Power Supply: Turn off the power supply to the oven at the circuit box. Do not turn off the gas supply.

2. Remove the Oven Door: To remove the oven door, first remove the screws along the edge of the door frame. Then, gently pull on the door until the hinges release. If necessary, use a putty knife or flat-head screwdriver to loosen the door.

3. Remove the Drawer: Take out the existing drawer and set it aside.

4. Install the New Drawer: Place the new drawer onto the opening. Ensure that the rear of the drawer is securely mounted to the range.

5. Secure the Drawer: To secure the drawer in place, insert the screws through the holes on the back of the drawer. Tighten with the provided allen wrench.

6. Reattach the Door: Reinstall the oven door, by aligning it with the hinges of the range and pushing it in place. Secure the door with the screws.

7. Restore the Power Supply: Restore the power supply to the oven, either at the circuit box or at the wall receptacle.

Once you have followed the steps above, your new support drawer should be installed and functioning properly.

Please keep in mind, these instructions are for general guidance and should always be used in conjunction with the manufacturer's manual, if available.
