This Range Element Receptacle and Wire Kit connects the surface elements of your range to the wiring harness. This kit includes (2) brackets (you'll only use one that matches ...your receptacle),(2) wires, (2) wire nuts, (2) pieces of heat-shrink wrap, and the receptacle. If your element is not heating, the connections may have shorted out. To access the part, remove the element that isn't working properly from your range, and the drip pan. Lift the top of the range and unscrew the old receptacle block. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the range and novice repair experience.
